Unsanitary Airplane Spots

What do you think is the most germ infested part of an airplane? Is it the stale air that we have to breath for 10 hours or more in a long flight? How about the plane bathrooms or the seats themselves? Are they what we should be most leery of when flying? Well, I'll tell you the correct answer shortly.
My questions about this come after seeing a news report on the very subject. It seems that more and more passengers are complaining that they are getting sick on airplanes. Some regular flyers say that at least half the time after a long flight they have a cold or some mild discomfort that they attribute to flying.
Well, the answer to the question about the "most infested part of the plane" is- the passengers. It's not the plane that infects us. Most planes have air circulation systems to keep fresh air constant and bad air moving. Research shows that if you sit next to a sick person even 4 rows in row or two rows behind, you are close enough to catch a contagious disease from him or her. So one sneeze, and contamination begins. Not only that, the germs sat on the seat where they become deposited.
Here are the other 4 most 5 contagious spots on an airplane.
1) The lavatory- not just the toilet seat, but when you put your hand on the door to open it, the facet in the room, anything there, you contaminate yourself. The lavatory is the dirtiest thing on the plane outside of other passengers. The best way to prevent contamination from the lavatory is to use a hand sanitizer as soon as you return to your seat.
2) open food containers- those carafes from which the fight attendant pours coffee, tea, water, etc..They are said to all be contaminated by air born germs. The recommendation to avoid this is to only accept drinks from closed containers.
3) blankets and seats- Anyone using a n airplane blanket is playing Russian Roulette. As for the seat, there is no way to tell if it's a contaminated one. But the odds of getting sick increase dramatically if you are surrounded by other passengers, rather than flying in a less filled plane and seated next to unoccupied seats.
4) food tray- The recommendation is to put something over the dinning tray when you position it for your food. It is said to be "filthy' with germs. Hehe Maybe you'll just go by ship next time....but think twice if you believe that is cleaner than an airplane.
Barbie just got another make-over! Forget the original blonde Barbie. There is now a Muslim Barbie doll. That's right. It's the new Barbie "Fulla" doll, dressed in the traditional shadar and bereft of her dumb blondness. Fulla even has a Muslim scarf and is said to possess "traditional Muslim values", is single and is not an Islamic terrorist (Ok, I just made up tat last one). Fulla went on sale this month in Cairo and if popular there will be marketed in other Muslim countries.
No truth to the rumor that Fulla's sweetie (Ken) will be created in the image of Osama bin Laden...
