Computer Games Get Sexy

I can't remember the last time I ever played a computer game, either software or internet on-line games. It has never appealed to me at all. Maybe I am not patient enough to sit through them, or not smart enough to figure them out, or just not the game type. But I notice another reason why it probably has no appeal to me. It is because many of them seem to revolve around the killing of fantasy monsters or other violence. The big sellers seem to be those who let people work out their violent fantasies on line.
One I saw in a store almost made me puke! It is a deer hunter game in which the players slaughters deer from his computer, blood oozing and more. I wonder about people who would be interested in fantasy "killing for fun". Well hold on to your seat, or perhaps "keep your pants on" would be amore accurate line, because sex is now becoming the in thing for computer games. In one due out next month, "Naughty America: The Game", players assume the forms of sexy cartoons, flirt, and have sex with other players characters. The players have their own apartment, but the world will also have "public sex zones" and kinky themed rooms (Wow! Men will love this one).
There is even a "make your own Porn" room. This game seems fun and harmless for adults, but how kids can be kept from playing them is a problem. And what about sexual predators who would surely use such games to win the confidence of a teen or small child? Too, one difference between this game and other sex games is that the later (like "Playboy the Mansion" and "Virtually Jenna") have been single player games.
Now the frontier of interactive sex games is about to be broken through. Supposedly, the many new adult games will combine the player-player interactions of the online games and the graphic sex of those single player games. It's not much of a stretch of the imagination to figure that two players engaged in game sex might decide to meet and do it in person. I saw an article about one such game that is on the works. It is called "Red-Light-Center.
In that one the players take the shape of three dimensional characters in a red-light-porn district. They can talk to each other through headsets and microphones. It seems almost a merging of fantasy and reality. They will try to combine dating, fantasy worlds, sexual chat rooms and pornography all in one.
So what do you think about that concept? Is it harmless and fun just smut or something in between? Would you try one of those if you had access to it?
