Shelters Of Ill Repute

I have to tell you about the "Shelters of Ill Repute" bill that was introduced into our Louisiana legislature, by a grandstanding, vote appealing, pandering to fear, demagogue representative named Donald Cazayoux of New Roads, Louisiana, a small Cajun city that is conservative and willing to vote for any legislator who will pander to their beliefs.
It was the inspiration of Donald after the evacuation of my part of the state during Hurricane Katrina.. You see, Donald wants separate shelters for convicted sex offenders, as the bill requires local and state officials to house registered sex offenders in separate shelters from other evacuees. According to Donald, sex offenders should be housed in their own shelter to "protect evacuees form their deviant behavior. But Donald must not want to protect evacuees from murders, violent criminals, thieves, alcoholics, drug dealers and users social misfits or any one else for that matter.
He has yet to propose no other separate shelter locations for any of those categories. This leads many here to believe that it's not evacuee safety that Donald is protecting, it's his seat in the legislature. By making one kind of criminal a whipping boy Donald can win re election on the backs of saving the evacuees from unwanted sexual advances. Given that the shelters are crowded and public, that there are security personnel patrolling inside and out, and not one incident of sexual abuse was reported while evacuees stayed in those shelters (sex offenders and pedophiles are terrified of acting out sexually in crowded places of "normal people" and rarely act out there) I am more than a little bit suspicious of Donald's motives.
But the rest of the state legislature knows an issue the voters like. Already the bill has passed easily in the house and is expected to do the same in the Senate next week, making it law for future evacuations. So I guess Donald will use his time to locate separate shelters for the sexy evacuees. Uh........there is just one little practical problem with Donald's "Shelters of Ill Reputes. I would ask Donald a question. If a convicted prostitute and a convicted John are both forced to occupy a special shelter, would that not put the state of Louisiana in the prostitution business? When the bill passes Donald may have actually made himself the state's biggest matchmaker for sexual services. And....since he provided a place for public prostitution and for a meeting of every sexual deviant in the area to meet, I think Donald himself could be charged with pandering for prostitution.
Hmmmmmmm I wonder what shelter Donald would use when he evacuates.........Gee, I hope it's one of his House of Ill Reputes. It's a good thing Donald isn't the principal of West Side High school, in Gary Indiana. I think he would probably order separate proms for, Kevin Logan, 18 one of the students who graduated from there this year. You see, Kevin is a male student who wore women's clothes to school all year, and was turned away from the school prom because he was wearing a dress and high heels.
Kevin says that, even the school refunded is $85 prom fee, the school principal discriminated against him by not allowing him inside the prom. Now Kevin is pondering a lawsuit that challenges the school policy banning males from wearing dresses. Maybe Kevin can evacuate to one of Donald's shelters if we have another hurricane here. He seems like a good candidate for a spot.
